New DAPS Stuff Gets Some Love
I was pleasantly surprised with a tweet today sharing the fact that this DAPS article about our new projects, Bad Taste and Any Time with Vin Forte, was in the print edition of the Sunday Advance. Extra special to have US Air Guitar Champion, Matt Burns on the same page.
Here’s a taste of what Lauren Steussy of the Staten Island Advance had to say:
The Dog and Pony Show is back.
The comical website which sprouted up in 2008 and then hibernated for a while has returned, for the past few months delivering entertaining web stuff to Staten Island and beyond.
Now, true to its funny video roots, the site has released its first web video (in a while) to the delight and horror of Staten Island ’90s kids. It features comedian Jayme Kilsby and writing support from Julianne Neely and Chris Knight.
Bad Taste is a new web-series where Jayme Kilsby tries and reviews the candies of our childhoods. I’m particularly proud of the awesome intro that I created. Photos for the intro and for the newspaper article were taken by David Giordano, btw.
Any Time with Vin Forte is a new podcast from longtime DAPS editor, Vin Forte. In each episode, Forte interviews an interesting character from the world of pop-culture.
